Electrical Test and Tagging by ElectriCity Crew ElectriCity Crew provides professional electrical test and tagging services to ensure your appliances meet safety and compliance standards. You can easily inquire about our services and pricing via phone, email, or by booking online for instant pricing. The Process: 1. Book online on our website and get an instant pricing. Our Pricing Structure: - Total price is subject to Service Fee + Total Test and Tag Price + GST - Pricing Breakdown: - Fixed price Service Fee (admin, travel, report, record keeping) of $120 - 100 appliances or less: $4.90 per item - 1000 appliances or less: $3.90 per item - Optional Extra Services: - After-hours or weekend service: $149 - Priority service (48-hour turnaround): $99 - Travel fee over 50 km from Champion Lakes 6111: $1.80 per km (first 50 km free). Upon booking, a deposit of $50 is required and is deductible to the total price. 2. After booking online, you will be contacted to discuss the details and confirm the date and time of the test and tagging. 3. You will receive an email of official invoice and confirmation. 2. On-Site Testing: Our team arrives promptly at your location for testing. - Visual Inspection: Each appliance is visually checked for damage. - Testing Process: We perform several key tests: - Insulation Resistance Test: Checks for current leakage. - Earth Continuity Test: Verifies the effectiveness of the earth connection. - Polarity Test: Ensures correct wiring for safety. - RCD Test: Confirms that Residual Current Devices trip correctly. - Documentation: We record results for each appliance, identifying any failures. 3. Tagging and Reporting: - Passes receive a compliance tag showing test dates and technician ID. - Failed appliances are tagged “Do Not Use” until repaired. - Clients receive a detailed digital report summarizing findings and necessary actions. - Tags for Quarterly Test and Tag Colours (WA) – mandatory for high-risk industries and appliances • Red: December, January, February • Green: March, April, May • Blue: June, July, August • Yellow: September, October, November - Other Colours Used by ElectriCity Crew - for low-risk industries and appliances • Orange: six monthly intervals • White: yearly testing 4.
